Optometry Australia has launched the Australian Optometry Weekly Alert email for members and the broader eye-care community.
The Weekly Alert is the latest addition to the organisation’s digital communication channels, designed to deliver news and information to members faster.
The Weekly Alert will be sent every Wednesday. It includes links to open-access news articles as well as links to Member Only information that requires a login.
It complements the Australian Optometry App which was launched four weeks ago and has already been downloaded 1,700 times. The App is free to download and its live news feed is free to access on tablets and smartphones.
The Australian Optometry Weekly Alert is designed to be opened on desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone.
It combines the open access, monthly Australian Optometry email alert and the member-only fortnightly eNews, both of which have been discontinued.
It also includes digital advertising options for the optometry sector.
The Australian Optometry Weekly Alert is distributed to members, industry representatives and stakeholders, and subscription is open to everyone.
